The surface are rough

Massive forms: Large, monolithic shapes with a heavy, imposing presence.

Estetically it is composed of simple shapes and block-like geometries. And often it repetive the same pattern acrros the building.

Many people dislike may feel brutalist building are cold, unfinished and ugly.

Social architecture: Designs often created to foster community, with public spaces.

Industrial: Links to industrial materials and construction techniques.

Brutalism in graphic/web design: Large typography, sharp edges, grid-based layouts, a limited color palette.
