Why?

It was a summer trip to a remote island. There I found a lot of buoys. I thought I could make some lights with them, like the ones I saw in some homes of the locals. Half of my luggage was those.

All started from a simple idea: separate the light switch from the fan switch. It sounds simple, but it wasn’t as easy as it sounds with my basic knowledge of non-existent knowledge on home electrical wiring. I was thinking of replacing the one-switch with a two-switch one. I found that because of how the wiring behind the switch is going to be, it would be at least a tedious task. On top of that, because the place is rented, I should try something less invasive and easy to “restore” when I leave.
